Nutrition Therapy Counseling
At times, healthful eating can quickly become overwhelming and difficult. It's easy to feel this way in today's society with millions of mixed messages about nutrition. Nutrition is not a one-size fits all plan. I believe it's essential to individualize healthy habits to your lifestyle, because you are unique!
(Initially, two 1-hour visits are scheduled at minimum).
Session 1: Assessment
- We'll work together to evaluate your current relationship with food, specific health concerns, food modifications, short and long-term goals. This is the first step to rediscovering the joy of eating.
Session 2: Follow-Up
- We'll revisit and discuss previous goals while assessing the appropriate level of support to lead you towards a healthy relationship with food.
The 6-Week Mindful Eating Workshop
In only six sessions you'll be able to...
-Learn & implement mindful eating practices
-Discover the foods that make you feel your best
-Acquire strategies to overcome emotional eating
-Differentiate between physical & emotional hunger
-Find & learn to balance your individual healthy weight
-Defeat barriers that have previously sabotaged you
Each session includes a variety of interactive teaching methods to accomplish learning objectives. Introducing a concept, small group activities, discussions and mindful eating practice with healthy snacks. More details and specifications are available upon request.
